The “Mohair by Canard” brand is owned by the “Von Broich Mohair” company. The Von Broich family used to be a mohair goat farmer in Denmark. The experience gained over more than 20 years in goat breeding and the living conditions of goats had a major impact on the keeping of the animals and thus on the end product.
Mohair by Canard has been producing mohair yarn and lace yarn from natural fibers of the highest quality since 2009, mainly to Danish and Scandinavian retailers.
Both the mohair and the merino for the production of the yarns come from South Africa.
The mohair from "Mohair by Canard" is a quality product and meets the highest requirements, it is noble and elegant. The yarn is manufactured using environmentally friendly methods and with a strict focus on sustainability and the care of the local environment and animal welfare.
